Justice Tuilevuka Works on Ruling in Daniel Kim's Case

Justice Anare Tuilevuka was not ready with the ruling in the case of Grace Roads president, Daniel Kim.
The court ruling was set for yesterday at the Tagimoucia Court House in Lautoka.
However, Justice Tuilevuka said he wasn’t prepared for the ruling because he hadn’t made any findings yet.

He has applied to appeal for his leave for judicial review.
Defence lawyer Ronald Gordon asked the Judge on whether he would apply leave application for judicial review or on the release of his client from detention.

Mr Gordon said he found the leave appeal application as unusual.
“We are asking you my lord, to deliver your ruling as early as soon as possible,” he said.
Mr Gordon is waiting for the Court of Appeal to deliver its judgment by the end of this month.
His client, Kim is placed at the Lautoka Remand Centre.
The matter is adjourned to February 20 for a ruling on the release of Kim from detention.
