Minister for iTaukei Affairs Iferemi Vasu paid a visit to the Commander Republic of Fiji Military Forces Major-General Ro Jone Kalouniwai at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua on Wednesday.
Their discussions centred around a bid to strengthen traditional governance.
Mr Vasu and Major-General Kalouniwai were to discuss the training of young traditional leaders (sausauvou) in the areas of leadership.

He said the iTaukei Affairs Ministry intended to continue cooperation and collaboration with other ministries and stakeholders to transform iTaukei communities.
