She is now gearing up for the next set of goals in 2021.
“Next year if I get a scholarship I will study accounting and finance and later become an auditor. I would like to say that through hard work, dedication, determination and endurance anything and everything is possible so work hard and work towards your dreams,” she advised.
Her mother Hafeeza Bibi said Asima’s achievements were a testament of her perseverance and sacrifice. She also said her daughter was also the dux of Ba Muslim Primary School in 2016.
“Tomorrow (Today) is her birthday, but we will not be celebrating anything until after her final exams next week Monday because we don’t want her to get distracted, but we will plan her birthday and dux awards celebrations after the exams,” she said.
She advised parents to “just anchor your children on values, teach them and be there for them because your support along the journey will go a long way because they do notice everything”.
75 Year 13 and vocational students graduated during the prizegiving.
