She lost her home due to a morning blaze. Despite that, Kavita Pracila Naidu still pushed on with her studies to win the dux award of Lomawai Primary School.
The Year Eight student received her award during the school’s prizegiving ceremony last week.
She recalled the day her home in Maro was destroyed around on early November.
