“He was only three months old when my husband and I found that there was a light in his right eye, and we took him to the hospital,” she said emotionally.

When the news broke that her five-month-old son was to lose one of his eyes due to cancer, Keresi Marama lost faith on what life would bring next. This occurred about two years ago.
Her son, Robert Mathew, is the youngest of two siblings.
“He was only three months old when my husband and I found that there was a light in his right eye, and we took him to the hospital,” she said emotionally.
