Kumar Dedicates Achievements To His Family
When Shivanal Shavneet Kumar graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and Deans Honours from the prestigious Fiji National University - Fiji School of Medical Sciences, he dedicated his achievement to his family. The Lomawai, Nadroga native attended his graduation ceremony in Suva on Thursday.

When Shivanal Shavneet Kumar graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and Deans Honours from the prestigious Fiji National University - Fiji School of Medical Sciences, he dedicated his achievement to his family. The Lomawai, Nadroga native attended his graduation ceremony in Suva on Thursday.
“Coming from the background of a small village school, I never really believed I would be able to get into the MBBS programme,” he said.
However, his mentor and guide, Adarsh Sharma (high school science teacher) constantly motivated him. His biggest supporters were his family members, especially his parents.
