Pacific Specialist Healthcare’s first open heart surgery patient Kusum Lata was all smiles at the hospital in Nadi yesterday.
Mrs Lata, from Natabua in Lautoka, called in because it was her review day with Cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon Dr Sanjeev Khulbey.
Her smile said it all - “I am feeling a lot better and have had no issues with the surgery.”

Mrs Lata said from the time she was discharged, PSH kept checking on her, and this showed they cared.
“I am blessed to have undergone the operation here and recovered so quickly. This goes to show this hospital is really good.”
Mrs Lata had a triple bypass and was discharged just four days after the surgery.
“I will be thankful to PSH for all my life - thank you,” she said.
