Labasa Man Missing Since October 3
“We have even called our relatives and friends and no one knows his whereabouts,” Mr Chand said.

Ami Chand has been missing for over two weeks from his Nakama home in Labasa.
The 55-year-old was last seen on October 3, leaving his home early morning to tend to his cattle.
His son, Ronit Chand said search efforts conducted by family, relatives and Police so far have been futile.

“We have even called our relatives and friends and no one knows his whereabouts,” Mr Chand said.
“This is the first time he has never returned home.”
The youngest of three siblings said he had asked Police to use its K9 unit.
“It is really sad to note that in Labasa there are no Police dogs,” he said.
He claimed that many people, including children, had gone missing from home and alleged that many of these cases remain unsolved.
Mr Chand said he would not give up the search as his 50-year-old mother was hoping to see her husband before Diwali.
Meanwhile, Police spokesperson Wame Bautolu confirmed the man was still missing and the search continues.
