There are not enough senior positions in the Fiji Police Force (FPF) held by women.
This was noted by the previous Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence which started deliberations on May 23, 2022.
The members of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence included chairperson Viliame Naupoto, deputy chairperson Lenora Qereqeretabua, Jovesa Vocea, Isikeli Tuiwailevu, and former Commissioner of Police Ioane Naivalurua.
