Lakshyaa Sets Sight On Dux

The student who scored the highest marks in the 2022 Fiji Year 12 Certificate Ex­amination in Taveuni Island was inducted as the head girl of Holy Cross College.

The student who scored the highest marks in the 2022 Fiji Year 12 Certificate Ex­amination in Taveuni Island was inducted as the head girl of Holy Cross College.

Lakshyaa Shankaran, 17, of Wairiki, Taveuni said she was sur­prised and happy to be head of a catholic-based school.

Aspiring to become a chartered accountant, she had scored 373 out of 400 in the exams.

“My mother, Savitri Shankaran is the principal of South Taveuni Secondary School and father, Anil Shankaran, is a retired princi­pal of South Taveuni Secondary School,” Lakshyaa said.
