A landowner in the Nakaroqara landowning unit at Vunimoli Village, Labasa, plans to attend more forestry supervision training courses to help develop his community.

Mesake Ralisa said he planned to develop and utilise resources in his forestry area.

He said there were logging opportunities on his land which could be used as timbers for the villagers’ well-being.

“Village infrastructure development is crucial for the sustainability of our people, so logging for our own use is the key to achieving this,” Mr Ralisa said.
