Lautoka Business Community Supports Health, RFMF Staff

The Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Coordination Centre officially opened on Monday with Ministry of Health medical staff.
The team also includes staff from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces who will provide COVID-19 patient home retrieval care and transfers in the Lautoka area.
These staff will be attending to calls made to the Western Emergency call line toll-free number 165.

“As I have mentioned before this is an important operation and they (the team) will be attending to the people of Lautoka and most likely they would see cases similar to what’s happening in Suva,” Ms Lokega said.
Commerce and Industry president Pyara Singh said that when the nation needs help, the business community would always assist in any way they could.
Commissioner Western Mesake Ledua said Dr Mafa and her team were helping communities in the Western Division and the facilities would provide patients that need medical attention and assistance.
