National Fire Authority is investigating an alleged morning fire that engulfed a three-storey structure at the Lautoka Police Station barracks yesterday.
Deputy Police Commissioner West SSP Iakobo Vaisewa said the fire allegedly started from the top floor of the barracks.
“The barracks was empty at the time of the incident. The cause of fire to be determined by NFA,” he said.

“About 30 officers were occupying the barracks and will now be accommodated elsewhere,” he said.
