Lautoka Ratepayers Association Await Swimming Pool Progress Report

The president of the Lautoka Ratepayers Association, Narayan Reddy, said members were anticipating the outcome of discussions regarding the Lautoka swimming pool project.
Mr Narayan had raised his concerns last year regarding the increase in operational costs from $7.4 million to $12.6 million.
The Permanent Secretary for Local Government Dimity Fifer refused to comment on the progress of the swimming pool development, however she confirmed that the development was under review.
