Lautoka Special School: ‘Leadership Exceeds Disability’

There is no disability in leadership, it is the quality of the leader that matters, says Lautoka Special School circulation monitor prefect, Carol Krishna.
The School inducted 22 leaders this week, one of whom was Carol.
A new role that the school included in their leadership this year was a Circulation Monitor Prefect. The student leader’s responsibility is to get the circulars from the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts to the school and give it to the teachers and have them sign.

Carol was filled with joy when her name was called as the prefect.
Praveen Krishna, her father, was happy that the teachers picked his daughter for the new leadership role.
He said he was so proud of her achievement and will support her and be by her side.
When the circular is issued, Carol will be informed, and then it will be her responsibility to collect it from the Education office and get all the teachers in the school to read and sign. It will be her responsibility to keep her school teachers on their toes.
