Leaders Look to Fathers for Support

Batinikama College head prefects, Vedika Nand and Shahil Mudaliar, hope to pursue a career in medicine and health services.
The science class students were surprised to be given this leadership role during the prefect’s induction in Labasa on Wednesday.
Both 18-year-old prefects attributed their achievements to their fathers, whom they consider role models.

“It is not going to be easy looking after the whole school with 38 prefects, 252 students from Years Nine to 13, and 26 teachers, but I will seek my father’s guidance.”
