‘LEAVE NO CHILD BEHIND’

Tui Nadogo, Ratu Ilisaniti Malodali is urging parents in his district to ensure all children attend school and use Government’s educational assistance.
Nadogo is a district in Macuata Province and is home to hundreds of villages and settlements.
Ratu Malodali, said parents should prioritise their children’s education.

He said the low count of students in villages should be a concern.
Ratu Malodali said parents, especially fathers, should find time at home to supervise their children with their studies.
He said they wanted to create a culture of conducive learning environment at home settings within their village and district.
“Parents step up and take up your responsibility for your children’s educational benefit,” he said.
Ratu Malodali said parents were the first teachers of their children.
He said educating children about the dangers of illicit drugs should start at home and when children were still young.
“We want children to be educational competent,” he said.
