Veniani Disari Ralulu of Kubulau, Bua, has proven that nothing can stop a person including sickness from pursuing what one is passionate about when God is on your side.

The 39-year-old mother of four is an assistant lecturer at the Sangam Institute of Technology College of Nursing and Health Care Education in Labasa.

She was among the nine students in the Postgraduate Certificate in Child Health Nursing and the only lecturer to graduate at the Civic Centre at Labasa yesterday.

The college collaborated with the Fiji Nursing Council and the Counties Manukau of Auckland to teach the Post Graduate Certificate in Child Health Nursing online.
