Lenaitasi Duru Resigns Amid Decision

In a secret ballot, 16 of the 30-member SODELPA management board voted in favour of the PA-NFP Coalition while the remainder voted for FijiFirst.

SODELPA general secretary, Lenaitasi Duru, has resigned following the decision for the party to join The People’s Alliance and National Federation Party saying he took a ‘principal stance’.

This is after the 72-hour long deliberations came to an end where SODELPA will now form Government with The People’s Alliance and National Federation Party.

In a secret ballot, 16 of the 30-member SODELPA management board voted in favour of the PA-NFP Coalition while the remainder voted for FijiFirst.
