As we celebrate this day, why don’t we follow and uphold the principles set by him to make it more meaningful by;
-Chiefs reaching out to people
-Proper land asset management and utilisation
-Making use of idle land- if not by yourselves than by those capable
-Replenishing resources and relations with unity and equality with everyone given an equal chance to enhance.
Celebrating just a date without principles set won’t honour the late Ratu Sukuna. Be it Girmit, Independence or Sukuna Day dates of such should be days of remembrance and significance, not just days off!
