Bus services are so sporadic late in the afternoons that desperation and paranoia are building to the point where men are seen pushing women and women pushing students, just to get a seat on the bus at some bus bays.
The fear is that anyone left standing will be asked to exit the bus because the bus drivers will be booked by Police officers.
However, the pushing is not necessary because once the masses enters the bus, they realise that there’s still more than enough space, most times. But the pushing continues the next day.
