Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has confirmed that the Coalition Government was not paying anything for the planned state visit to Kiribati this Friday.

Speaking to the media yesterday, Prime Minister Rabuka said he was waiting for the logistics arrangements with a neighbouring country providing an aircraft for the visit.

Mr Rabuka also confirmed he would be asking the Government of Kiribati to return to the Pacific Islands Forum.

“I will ask them to return to the Pacific Islands Forum because I believe it is important to the solidarity of the region for them to come back,” he said.
