Malani Appeals Chief Justice Decision

Veronica Malani has filed an appeal against the decision of the Chief Justice in a Judicial Review application against the decision of the Director of Public Prosecution.
The leave to apply for a judicial review application was filed by Malani against the Director of Public Prosecution’s (DPP’s) decision that there was insufficient credible and reliable evidence to support the criminal charges laid against the Attorney-General.
Malani had alleged that the Attorney-General was involved in a 1987 bombing that injured her and her mother. She was 14 years old at the time.
