Man, 25, critical after vehicle strike near FNU Nasinu

A 25-year-old man is in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle along Kings Road near the Fiji National University Nasinu campus last night.

Police said the man allegedly crossed the road suddenly when he was hit by a vehicle driven by a man in his 30s shortly after 8pm.

The victim was taken to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, where he remains admitted in critical condition.

Authorities are urging both drivers and pedestrians to remain vigilant and alert at all times.

Police say road safety is a shared responsibility and everyone must exercise caution to prevent accidents.
