Man Airlifted To CWM Hospital After Serious Nail Gun Injury

A 50-year-old man from Vanua Levu was airlifted to the Colonial War Memorial (CWM) Hospital in Suva on the weekend after allegedly injuring himself with an electric nail gun.

A 50-year-old man from Vanua Levu was airlifted to the Colonial War Memorial (CWM) Hospital in Suva on the weekend after allegedly injuring himself with an electric nail gun.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the man was admitted at the Labasa Divisional Hospital during the Easter long weekend after the alleged incident took place at Nasekawa in Savusavu on Good Friday (April 7).

“The man was seriously injured after he shot himself with a nail gun,” Ms Naisoro said.
