A man was apprehended by Police at the Government Buildings in Suva yesterday after exhibiting suspicious behaviour.

The Office of the Prime Minister confirmed the individual entered through the main entrance and was stopped by officers stationed on the ground floor of the new wing.

He was later escorted from the premises and referred to the relevant authorities.

The Office said operations continued as normal and no one was affected by the incident.

It also urged the public to verify information before drawing conclusions or making assumptions, particularly on matters of public interest.
