Man Charged For Loitering In A Public Place For Illegal Purpose

A man and a woman will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today after they were arrested by an operations team in Suva last night.

The 23 year old man was charged with one count of loitering in a public place for illegal purpose after he could not provide officers a reason as to why he was at Sukuna Park late last night and was seen acting in a suspicious manner.

The second accused an 18 year old woman has been charged with one count of giving false information to a public servant, after she gave police officers a false name when asked about her particulars and why she was seen late at night at Sukuna Park.

The two will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today.
