Man falls off moving vehicle, critical in hospital
The impact threw the victim backwards, causing all three passengers to fall off the vehicle.

A 20-year-old man from Korolevu Village, Navosa, is fighting for his life at the Aspen managed Lautoka Hospital after falling off a moving vehicle on Tuesday night.
Police said the victim was travelling in the tray of a carrier with two others from Korolevu Village towards Nubutautau Village in Ba when the driver suddenly changed speed.
The impact threw the victim backwards, causing all three passengers to fall off the vehicle.

An 18-year-old farmer, also seated in the tray, alerted the driver, who then rushed the victims to the Bukuya Health Centre.
The two others sustained minor injuries and were later treated at Nadi Hospital before being discharged.
The 20-year-old, however, was transferred to Lautoka Hospital where he remains admitted in critical condition.
Police investigations are underway.
