Man Found Dead At Sigatoka Home

The dreams for a wed­ding between Jone Naloma and his Aus­tralian sweetheart were dashed yesterday when Mr Naloma was found dead in his home.

The 45-year-old was a security guard at Laselase Village in Si­gatoka.

Mr Naloma’s cousin Joasa Domolailai was emo­tional, describing Mr Naloma as a reliable family member who will be greatly missed.

“Jone was a quiet and a kind hearted person. He lived alone after his wife died two years ago,” Mr Domolailai said.

“We couldn’t believe what had happened to him yesterday (Sunday). I cried because we’ve lost a very reliable family member who was always there to support every little need of the family. .

“This year, Jone told me that he has an Austral­ian girlfriend and they are planning to marry by March. He had travelled to Australia twice this year and his girlfriend also comes and visits him here,” he said.

Post mortem examination of the body that was found dead at his home in Laselase on Sunday afternoon was conducted yesterday.

The pathologist has revealed that the victim died from heart attack.
