Man Serving Time For Murder Of Partner In 2019 Files Appeal

A 23-year-old man who is serving life in prison for murdering his partner in 2019 has filed leave to appeal against conviction and sentence.

Suliasi Fuata’s case was called before Fiji Court of Appeal Judge, Justice Chandana Prematilaka.

Fuata pleaded guilty to murdering his partner, Salanieta Leba, on June 28, 2019, after an argument over an issue over her Facebook account.
