Man Who Allegedly Attempted To Kill His Son To Take Plea Next Month

It is alleged that on September 3, 2022, following a heated argument with his wife in their Namotomoto home in Nadi, Nabi allegedly took their son forcefully and drove towards the Namotomoto Bridge.

The 27-year-old man, who allegedly attempted to murder his nine-month-old son in Nadi last year, is expected to take his plea next month.

Saiyad Muktar Nabi, who is charged with one count of attempted murder, appeared before High Court Judge, Justice Riyaz Hamza at the High Court in Lautoka yesterday.

It is alleged that on September 3, 2022, following a heated argument with his wife in their Namotomoto home in Nadi, Nabi allegedly took their son forcefully and drove towards the Namotomoto Bridge.
