Man Who Attempted To Murder Wife To Be Sentenced Next Week
The offender was initially charged with three counts of attempted murder.

A 37-year-old man will be sentenced next week after he was found guilty and convicted on two counts of attempted murder on the wife and one count of act with intent to cause grievous harm to his wife in Rakiraki last year.
He also pleaded not guilty to the charges
Vilimone Balevirewa appeared before High Court Judge, Justice Sunil Sharma at the High Court in Lautoka on Monday.

During trial, Balevirewa pleaded not guilty to all three counts.
Following the trial, the court found Balevirewa guilty of two counts of attempted murder and one count of act with intent to cause grievous harm.
