Man Who Threatened To Chop Wife’s Head In Remand

A 32-year-old man, who threatened to chop his wife’s head, was remanded in custody by the Magistrate Court in Labasa yesterday.

He is charged with one count of criminal intimidation.

At his first appearance before Magistrate Bimsara Jagodage, the father-of-two chose to represent himself and pleaded guilty to the charge.
