Maqalevu Families Aware Of Flooding During Heavy Downpour

The mother of five children was born and raised in the area. She is used to adverse flooding when river water levels rise because of heavy rain.

Susi Tinakula and her family are familiar with being at the receiving end of flood waters every time there is heavy rain.

They live at Maqalevu Settlement located near the three villages of Sikituru, Yavusania and Narewa in Nadi.

The settlement and all three villages were inundated with flood waters after the heavy downpour last week.
