Nothing says I love you like the Fijian way and that is why this year people should consider buying local flowers. This is the message from the flower vendors at the Suva City Municipal Market.
With a rush for flowers to complement other gifts on Valentines Day, local vendors were hoping to persuade people to buy locally grown flowers and in turn help drive the local economy.
Flower Vendors Association president Alevina Naikarakete said there were 40 women vendors at the market.
