Market vendor triumphs over breast cancer

Simran Chandra, a 43-year-old market vendor at Tavakubu, has not only built a successful business over the last eight years but is also battling breast cancer while managing two market stalls.
Despite her diagnosis, Ms Chandra continues to run her business with the support of her family.
Her journey from selling pineapples on the street to owning two stalls has made her a prominent figure among the community of hardworking women vendors.
