The Methodist Church in Fiji and Rotuma ministers have been warned against infidelity.

The church says they do not support ministers being separated from their wives who are mainly overseas.

The church is looking at sending both the pastors and its partner to the mission field – in an effort ‘not’ to keep families apart during the mission.

While some of them are together, other pastors that are not, have been encouraged to notify the church administration.

Church general secretary, Reverend Semisi Turagavou, said this would allow them to make arrangements for families to move in together.

“We don’t have any figures at the moment. We are not supporting the wives who are overseas. We do not entertain and support that."

“If your wife is overseas, please come and see the president so that we can discuss your issues,” he has called on the ministers.
