Police investigations into the Millers Wharf robbery in Walu Bay are ongoing, more than a month after a group of men allegedly carried out a daring theft at Sealand Processes Fiji Limited.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Wame Bautolu confirmed yesterday that officers are still working to identify those involved in the incident.

The robbery occurred on December 29, when seven men allegedly climbed the company’s fence, threatened a security guard with a cane knife and made off with a safe before fleeing the scene in a fibreglass boat.

One suspect was previously detained but later released after being cautioned and interviewed.

Police sources have earlier described the robbery as organised and well-executed, with investigations continuing to determine the identities and whereabouts of the remaining suspects.
