Minister Biman Prasad Defends FRCS CEO's Pay Increment

Finance Minister, Biman Prasad, has refused to comment on why Fiji Revenue and Customs Service chief executive officer, Mark Dixon, was given a pay rise in recent days.

Finance Minister, Biman Prasad, has refused to comment on why Fiji Revenue and Customs Service chief executive officer, Mark Dixon, was given a pay rise in recent days.

Mr Dixon had left the country on December 18, 2022, and returned to Australia.

When asked yesterday why the pay increment was given and why a local had not been appointed when Mr Dixon left the country, Mr Prasad said: “He was always on the job.”
