Pio Tikoduadua, the Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration, has raised serious concerns about crimes against children in Fiji and emphasised the need for zero tolerance towards such crimes.

During a visit to the Labasa Police Station last week, Tikoduadua expressed his concerns over offences against children, which he said were at the top of the criminal list.

This was supported by Northern Police Command Centre officer in charge, Assistant Superintendent of Police Ilisapeci Ranadi, who presented statistics from January to March 2022 compared to January to March 2023.
