A Government minister will leave for a shopping trip to India, in a move that can be likened to a band-aid solution to old archaic problem.

A date has not been revealed about the quest for spare parts for sugar mills.

The trip is among moves to address ongoing concerns over the need to improve the deteriorating state of the mill’s infrastructure, he said.

“I would be meeting with a reasonable number of State-owned mill owners and millers,” Mr Singh said.
