We are on the right track to recovery!
This is what the Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Rosy Akbar said about the country’s road back to recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. She said this at the new Kaifs Fish Corner (KFC) in Nadi, located opposite Prince Charles Park last Friday evening.
After hearing of new businesses operating around the country, Ms Akbar said Fiji would be back to where it was before COVID-19 struck.

Abdul Ahad, who invested a total of $25,000 in the restaurant, was commended by the minister as he had set an example for others who want to start a business.
“The location in which you have set up your center, I am sure is a good location which is Prince Charles Park just right across from you; the busy street here, and your investments will bring to light profits,” Ms Akbar told Mr Ahad.
Mr Ahad said he defied every negative comment about the location of his new restaurant.
“Some have said that business doesn’t work well in this location, but I doubted that. If we work hard anything is possible,” he said.
