Minister visits flood-hit families in Ba and Lautoka
While addressing evacuees, Mr Bulitavu thanked families for heeding official advisories and relocating early to designated evacuation centres to ensure their safety.

Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management Mosese Bulitavu joined Western Division officials working around the clock to deliver relief supplies to flood-affected families at four evacuation centres in Ba and Lautoka.
The team distributed essential non-food items (NFIs) to assist families beginning the recovery process after the recent flooding.
The evacuation centres visited last night were Nasolo Village Hall and Nailaga Village Hall in Ba, and Lovu Sangam Primary School and Sun Black Apartment in Lautoka.

He encouraged those affected to remain strong and make good use of the assistance provided as they work towards rebuilding their homes and livelihoods.
The Ministry also acknowledged the Governments of Australia and New Zealand for their support through the provision of NFIs, which will assist affected families in the aftermath of the floods.
