Your Royal Highnesses
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Bula Vinaka!
Upon your royal visit to Fiji last year, you took the time to plant a Dakua tree – an endangered indigenous tree species – at the Colo-i-Suva Forest Park which is part of Her Majesty the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy.
In doing so, you have planted hope for the people of Fiji and their future.
It may please you Royal Highnesses to know that the Dakua tree is growing luxuriantly.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Fiji, I wish you a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Yours Sincerely,
Honorable Osea Naiqamu
Ministry of Forestry.
