The Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Al­leviation, Ashwin Raj said the au­diting of social security schemes offered by the ministry was under­way.

Mr Raj said the audits includ­ed the social security schemes and budgets to aid different pro­grammes in the ministry.

“We are auditing the social securi­ty schemes at the moment,” he said.

“We are doing an audit of the budget in terms of the various pro­grammes that are underway.”
