“This event is a remarkable initiative that seeks to explore the beauty and cultural richness of the Yellow River region, while fostering harmonious exchanges among global civilisations,” she said.
“The Yellow River, often referred to as the “Mother River” in China, holds great significance in Chinese culture, history, and identity.”
Ms Priyanka said this cultural exchange trip is focused on educating visitors on how one of China’s rich historical locations still thrives to date with modern civilisation.
She said the river was not only a source of life but also a symbol of unity, connecting diverse communities along its banks.
By participating in this programme, she anticipates representing Fiji on the international stage and engaging in meaningful cultural exchanges with the people of Jiyuan.
“This endeavour is not just about showcasing Fiji’s beauty and culture, but it’s also a chance to celebrate the rich tapestry of humanity that binds nations together,” she said.
“Through this event, I aim to promote friendship, understanding, and cooperation between Fiji and China, two countries with a long history of collaboration.”
“I believe that this unique opportunity will contribute to fostering strong connections and creating lasting memories.”
