Missing Fishermen Found and Safe
The four fishermen went to a nearest house and use a phone to inform their family of their status.

The four fishermen who were reported missing from Yanuca on Wednesday night have been found.
Due to an engine malfunction, the 23ft fiber glass fishing boat that they were on, drifted from Yanuca at around 5pm.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACPO) Livai Driu said the four drifted to Lomawai in Sigatoka and are all safe.

The fishermen were Sainivalati Waqa (20), Jone Qoro (18) Aisake Talili (12) and Ledua Taina Uluilakeba (32) of Yanuca Island.
"This morning at 02.00am they managed to paddle the boat using the seat ply and reached the shore at Namata, Nadi,” said ACP Driu.

ACP Driu would like to acknowledge all stakeholders and members of the communities who had a helping hand in the search and rescue efforts.
“The search has now been called off and I am calling all on everyone to please continue to monitor the Marine time weather forecast before heading out to sea.
