The RFMF Naval Divison has successfully carried out a series of operations aimed at enforcing maritime law, particularly in the area of fisheries protection.
Operating out of Forward Base North and Forward Base West, the division collaborated closely with the Fiji Police and Fiji Ministry Fisheries to ensure the integrity of our maritime resources.
In a significant operation conducted from Forward Base West, Navy personnel with partner agencies apprehended a number of suspected vessels involved in illegal fishing activities.
