More Expected To Help Raise Funds For CWM Hospital

The Colonial War Memorial (CWM) Hospital, which turns 100 years old in December, remains in dire need of repairs, equipment and renovation.

The Colonial War Memorial (CWM) Hospital, which turns 100 years old in December, remains in dire need of repairs, equipment and renovation.

This came to light last month when local media, through the Prime Minis­ter’s Office, was given an uncensored tour of the hospital.

Last Thursday, a fundraiser, hosted by the British High Commissioner to Fiji, Dr Brian Jones, at his residence, col­lected funds for the repairs in a silent auction.
