Kelera Tawake, 39, yesterday held a photo of her late son as she mourned his death after he drowned on the weekend.
Eroni Tikoisuva, 19, is alleged to have drowned in the Nawaka River last Thursday and his body was found by his peers on Saturday about 10 metres from where he was last seen.
Ms Tawake, a mother of four, recounted the final time they had lunch together last Thursday.
